1965 AC Cobra 289

Identity: the identity is of a genuine CSX car, CSX2562, officially registered in the US in 1964.

Car: the car is a Kirkham Cobra, produced in the years 2000 and previously campaigned by John Minshaw, Andrew Haddon and Chris Milner at Goodwood MM and other races such as Masters races.

The car is FIA legal, with all the correct components and meticulously maintained to the highest standard.

Gearbox and differential have 5 races, engine only two test session since its full rebuild by Peter Knight, now developing 461bhp at 6,800rpm.
It is fitted with an MSD box (as per Peter Auto regulations) and is the only Cobra carrying the original FIA roadster spec, with a unique dashboard like CSX2345.
 
The car is race ready, has an HTP valid until 2025 and comes with a spare parts package.
It is eligible for all the major races, as well as rallyes such as Tour Auto and Modena Cento Ore.
