TOJ

TOJ was a German racing car constructor, founded by Jorg Obermoser who made its racing debuts in the German Formula 3 championship driving a Brabham BT35.

Jorg Obermoser decided to build its own-racing and made the first TOJ-BMW (TOJ means ’Team Obermoser Jorg).

In 1975 he achieved some class victories with a further-developed TOJ-BMW.

After some BMW-engined 2-Litre sports-prototype cars, TOJ entered the International Formula 2 single-seater competition.

In 1976 and 1977, TOJ decided to enter the World Endurance Championship with its 3-liter cars but also the 24h of Le Mans and Interserie motor races.
