1953 JAGUAR XK 120 FHC

The Jaguar XK120 was launched at the Earls Court Motor Show in 1948. This new Jaguar Model was a real revelation to post-war England.

1951 saw the introduction of one of the most beautiful Jaguar models ever produced: the XK 120 Fixed Head Coupe. Jaguar made about 2,477 XK120 FHC examples.

Our magnificent Jaguar XK120 Fixed Head Coupe, chassis no. S680774 was completed on February 10, 1953 and dispatched a few days later to US West Coast Jaguar distributor Charles Hornburg Junior in Los Angeles.

Chassis S680774 was originally finished in black over a red leather interior.

The first owner was not recorded. The second owner, a Sheikh, put a brown paint over a brown leather interior on the car.

The third owner bought the XK120 in 1973 and kept the car for nearly four decades, during which time it was restored twice: in 1994 and 2008/9.

He finally sold the car in 2011 to a gentleman who drove the car only a few miles. The car was stored in a heated garage, always maintained.

Today, our Jaguar XK 120 Fixed Head Coupe is for sale in perfect condition; painted in a magnificent pastel blue over a two-tone light grey / dark blue leather interior. The quality of the paint, the woods and the interior are simply perfect.

It is documented with many invoices. US papers / EU taxes paid.
